Our aim is for you to gain a better understanding of Web 2.0 resources. On this wiki, you will find six types of Web 2.0 that we have found most helpful for elementary students and teachers.

Web 2.0 tools are web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design, and collaboration on the World Wide Web.

We chose these six Web 2.0 tools:

Arcademic Skill Builders : mathematics, language arts, and geography games to aid students in learning.
Calendar Hub: Online calendar assisting in communication of teachers, students, and parents.
Classroom Architect: A tool used by teachers to design a perfect learning environment.
Meebo : An online chatroom tool for classroom communication.
Quiz Star A tool used by teahers to create and manage quizzes.
Quizlet: Students and teachers can make flashcards to serve as study tools for tests.
